The fattest men. The fattest ones. Biographies of the fattest people on the planet

24.04.2015

Pride will tear us all apart

I still write Friday texts on non-cosmetics topics, and today's post is quite difficult for me. As you can tell from the title, it's about fat people. Not even like that - about fat people. Well, that’s what everyone calls them, right? You can say “overweight people”, you can say “fat”, but why not “fat”? There’s also a great word from childhood, “fatty.”

In a word, freedom. Well, why not sympathize with them? They eat like crazy, and then they take up two seats on the bus. They sweat, puff, struggle to climb the steps, rearranging their oversized pedestals, bulge out of their pants and T-shirts in a thousand folds, shake their cheeks and chins disgustingly (several at once!), waddle along the street, waddling cartoonishly from side to side.

I sincerely hope that most of my readers' eyes have already popped out of their heads by the end of this short paragraph, but for those whose eyes remained in place, I will still explain: it was sarcasm. And moreover, I want to show the video from which my desire to raise this topic was born.

Oh, what fun music, how funny! This video has appeared in my social media news feed several times; the repost was made with comments in the spirit of “There’s a month left until summer, ha-ha!”, “You have to get so overfed,” “Come on, you cow,” etc. And do you know what’s the strangest (if not scary) thing? All this was written not by schoolchildren or weak-minded lumpen, but by intellectual workers, all sorts of leading analysts of large companies, people who seem to think.

So, the question arises, what's funny about this video? Maybe overweight people there eat donuts and then go audition for the role of a ballerina? No, they came to play sports. That's what they're usually always called upon to do, right? “There’s no point in lying on the couch with a burger and chips, get off your butt and go run!” Well, here they go. As you can understand even from the short video, this is very difficult for them. It's physically difficult. Not like for a girl with a little extra deposits on her sides - she got up and ran along the path; Here it’s painfully difficult to even get on the simulator.

Many people think that everything is simple: eat less, move more, and you will become a reed.

To be honest, I became scared when I imagined what it would be like to exist - constantly! - at this weight. Imagine that it’s hard for you to do everything: bend down, walk, stretch, even just turn around with your whole body. To live as if in a prison of fat deposits, inside of which is hidden a person like everyone else, with the same desires - to run, jump, stretch lightly, standing on tiptoes, quickly bend down while running to grab a bag and, throwing it over your shoulder, hurry up further. Flying gait. But instead...

I want to make two points.

Firstly, I am writing here as a disinterested person. I myself have never been “fat,” although I can jokingly call myself that now. My maximum weight (excluding pregnancy) was 68 kg, and then I really considered myself fat. However, with a height of 168 cm, this is far from obese, they didn’t look at me with disgust on the streets, and what’s more, even my husband was completely satisfied with my figure (but I wasn’t, and I corrected it, but that’s beside the point).

Secondly, I’m not talking about people with an extra five, ten, or even twenty kilograms. This is another case, such people sometimes are told: “It wouldn’t hurt you to lose weight,” but no one looks at them as freaks, on the streets they don’t attract attention with their size, and for objective reasons there is no reason to talk about them as about people with disabilities.

So, actually, what upsets me and even, perhaps, angers me: towards such people in gyms, in group fitness classes, etc. the attitude is usually negative and mocking. No, I don’t say “for all of Odessa,” I willingly believe that you, specifically you, look at them differently. But in this case, you and I are not in the majority.

And a couple of months ago I went to do Zumba; For those who don’t know, these are dance cardio exercises, dance aerobics, to put it even more simply. And there’s a girl working with us there - she’s definitely not thirty, it’s difficult to determine more precisely - whose weight is clearly well over a hundred kilograms. And you know, I’m ashamed to admit it, but my first reaction to her during class was irritation. They say, what is this vast, shapeless body trying to portray here, what kind of dancing? And does she really hope to become slim by dancing for an hour in the gym?

And now, you know, I look at her with great respect and even admiration. Several times, in the middle of class, several of the students left, tired. This girl - never. She has a nice, bright, brand new uniform - and everyone knows that beautiful sports clothes (forgive me for this word) are very motivating to work out. Many of her movements do not work out as they should, but she never stands with her hands down, she tries to do them in the version in which she can master it. The girl works on herself, she wants to work on herself, she, hand on heart, is great. And you will agree with me now, for sure, right?

But when they see her on the street, most will probably think about the notorious burger donuts and sitting for hours in front of the TV. Do you understand? We cannot know how much effort all these "Look, I'm overfed" apply to solve their problem. Therefore, when you get irritated again at another “McDonald’s victim,” remember the story about this girl. It might make you look at fat people differently.

That's all why I wrote my Friday post today.

Who is the largest man in the history of our planet?

The fattest man on our planet (and in the history of the planet):

Manuel Uribe

Photo

The year of his birth is 1965. Around 2001, he was already five hundred kilograms, and in 2007 his weight was five hundred and sixty kilograms. Thanks to this weight, Manuel was listed in the Guinness Book of World Records.

It was very difficult for him. And he begged the surgeons to perform an operation to truncate his stomach. He promised that if the surgeons helped him, he would go on a very strict diet and lose weight. You will lose weight so much that it will be impossible not to notice.

The “record holder” kept his promise. He lost two hundred kilograms.

He was able to move independently. The first thing he did when he lost weight was propose to the woman who had helped him for fourteen days.

The wedding ceremony also took place in bed. The newlyweds' dance was like this: they held hands and simply moved to the beat of the music. Nothing is known about the couple's wedding night.

The biggest Mexican

Jose Luis Garza

By the way, thanks to losing weight, Manuel “gave” his “fat title” to forty-seven-year-old Mexican Jose Luis Garza. Photo. He recently died of a heart attack.

The fattest (newborn) baby in the world

The fattest baby (newborn) weighed almost eleven kilograms. He was born in America in 19879. The baby lived only eleven days.

The fattest newborn baby weighs almost eight kilograms. Doctors are trying their best to achieve weight loss. Otherwise, the girl may die due to huge heart problems.

Do you think that this is where the list of the fattest people on the planet ends?

As you can see, no. It is impossible to mention just one person, since there will be no comparison in the weight category, there will be no “satisfaction” of curiosity.

The fattest American president

The fattest American president is considered to be: (twenty-seventh president). Despite the fact that he only weighed one hundred and fifty extra pounds, people said that he would get stuck in his own bathroom, and measures had to be taken. They called a crane to “extract” him from there.

William Howard Taft

There is a man living in the UK who weighs a lot, but is not going to go on a diet. He eats eight times a day, consuming more than twenty thousand calories. He weighs four hundred and fifty kilograms.

There was such a heavyweight Peter Yarnall

He weighed three hundred seventy-four kilograms (height - 178 centimeters). He spent the last few years in bed because he was unable to get up due to his weight. Peter died when he was 34 years old (in 1984).

The most complete twin brothers in the USA

Benny and Billy Leon McCrery

(Carolina, USA) - the fullest brothers - twins. Until they were six years old, they had the most normal weight, but after six they became seriously ill with measles and began to gain weight terribly. Benny weighed three hundred twenty-eight kilograms, and Billy weighed three hundred thirty-seven kilograms.

The fattest American woman

The most spectacular fat woman is an American:

Percy Pearl Washington

She weighed almost four hundred kilograms. She wore clothes of size sixty-two (height - 183 centimeters). Percy died at the age of forty-six, in hospital.

Fattest weight gain record

John Minnoch

Record holder for weight gain. See photo. In a week he managed to gain ninety kilograms. He worked as a taxi driver as long as his health allowed. He died when he was 42 years old. Then his weight was three hundred sixty-two kilograms.

Not just fat, but just full

Walter Hudson

Walter Hudson's name came to light when he got stuck in the door of his own house. Firefighters rescued him. This man weighed about five hundred and forty kilograms. He simply ate as much as he wanted, without limiting himself in anything.

The fattest, since school days

Michael Edelman

When Michael Edelman was ten years old, he left school because he could not fit in any of the desks. He spent the rest of his life in bed. By the way, he weighed five hundred and forty kilograms. His mother, who lived with him, did not persuade him to eat less, since she herself weighed a lot (about three hundred kilograms). Mike corresponded with Walter. When Walter died, Michael immediately developed an abnormal fear of food. He stopped eating completely and lost a lot of weight. Unfortunately, he died 1 year after the death of his friend. Michael's weight was two hundred and seventy-two kilograms.

Reviews of the fattest people in the world

Miranda:

Horror! How can you love food so much that you go crazy over it, like out of love? Apparently, I will never be able to understand such people. And they probably don’t need my understanding. It’s hard to live with such a “heavy” weight! I wouldn't be able to stand him.

Oksana:

I'm full myself. But not that much! So many kilograms that my head is spinning when I read about their number! Scary. And I feel sorry for the people. They are ruining themselves. And they die, as you noticed, at a relatively young age. I'm actually surprised how you can eat so much. I do not take into account cases of obesity and birth weight.

Alivia:

But I understand people who love to eat. I'm the same way myself. But, of course, I am lucky in terms of the constitution. I am very thin, but I eat a lot - a lot. Unnoticeable to me, naturally. And this makes me happy. My friends and acquaintances envy me so much that I beg them not to envy me, because all this envy reflects badly on a person. Not only on me alone, but also on all those whom others envy.

Hope:

I have a girlfriend. They are surprised how I can eat so much. My body is so demanding! And I can't deny him the pleasure. I never went on a diet, because I would die without my favorite buns and other goodies. And my mother cooks very well. He is trying for his only daughter! And do you think I’m crazy to refuse her “creations”? No way!

Catherine:

I will lose weight! The weight bothers me. I already weigh eighty-three kilograms. I want to “get” to forty-six. They say it suits me better this way. Otherwise I already look like some kind of pig! I can't look in the mirror! And how do those who have so many extra pounds in their bodies not feel complex? I would talk to them... Maybe they would reveal their secrets. I am very interested in these people as individuals.

Do not miss. . .

Innovative technologies are penetrating deeper into our lives and taking away from us the need to actively move: there is no need to chase mammoths and wander through the forests in search of berries, build a home with your own hands, spin, weave, sow, reap. Even washing has become an easy task. Supermarket shelves are filled with delicious and satisfying food. As a result, the lack of physical activity and excessive calorie consumption have led to obesity becoming a serious problem for many of our contemporaries. This is reflected in such popular queries on the Internet: “How to lose weight” and “Diet for weight loss.” But if the vast majority dreams of losing 5-15 extra pounds, then there are the “lucky” ones who could use a few centners of fat. Let's talk about the fattest people in the world.

10 About 450 kg

It is occupied by two people at once:

9 Robert Earl Hughes

It was difficult for an American to fit here Robert Earl Hughes , whose weight was 486 kg . The cause of obesity in this case is not gluttony, but complications from whooping cough, which Robert suffered from in early childhood. His weight at 6 years old was 92 kg (!), at 10 years old - 171 kg, and at 13 - already 248 kg. With age, the extra pounds only came, although the guy was on a strict diet and tried his best to lose weight.

It was difficult for Robert to move, but he earned his own living by performing at fairs and in the circus. The onlookers looked at the fat man with pleasure, not even suspecting how much suffering his illness caused.

Robert died at the age of 32 from measles.

8 Mayra Lisbeth Rosales

American Mayra Lisbeth Rosales famous not only for her weight 500 kg , but also with her amazing willpower: realizing that her life was passing by, she wanted to commit suicide, but managed to pull herself together and lost weight to 100 kg! Myra has been at this weight for several years; she underwent surgery to remove excess skin and announced on her blog that she had decided to lose another 30 kg. Many people are interested in how the girl lost weight. Myra replies that she did not use any chemicals or surgeries to bypass or remove excess fat, but only a low-calorie, strict diet and exercise.

7 Patrick Deuel

American Patrick Diuel – 511 kg . At this weight, almost completely immobilized and desperate, he went to the hospital. For more than six months, doctors struggled with Patrick’s obesity: they removed part of the adipose tissue, half of the stomach, a huge amount of excess skin, and strictly controlled the young man’s menu and calories consumed. The patient was treated by a personal trainer using a special gentle program (since the American’s heart suffered due to obesity). As a result, Patrick lost 260 kg. After leaving the hospital, he continued to fight and reached the point where the scales showed 193 kg. But Patrick said that he is still very far from perfection and is working hard on his figure.

6 Francis John Lang

Korean Francis John Lang– 538 kg. He was born absolutely normal, served in the army, and was a cheerful and active young man. Having fallen ill during his service, he began to take medicine, which had an unexpected effect on him: the guy’s appetite became uncontrollable, he could not get enough and ate without stopping. Having grown to an exorbitant size, Lang could no longer move. In order to somehow earn a living, he bought a motor home, ordered viewing windows for it and exhibited himself while traveling around the country. The ceremony was accompanied by a lecture on how carefully one should take medications to avoid negative side effects.

After a heart attack, doctors put Francis on a diet, carried out the necessary therapy, and our hero managed to lose weight to 180 kg.

5,544 kg

It was again divided between two:

4 Manuel Uribe

This place is occupied by a Mexican Manuel Uribe , who distinguished himself by weight 587 kg . Having an enormous appetite, he devoured all the food supplies in the house in record time. For example, per day he could eat 4 roast turkeys, a couple of meat pies, 10 servings of mashed potatoes, and a 3-liter pot of soup. This is not to mention chips, sparkling water and sweets for snacks. When Manuel could not even get out of bed to relieve himself, he decided to lose weight in order to return to a normal life. Doctors suggested gastric bypass surgery, but the fat man refused and went on a strict diet. Now he allowed himself only 2 thousand calories a day. This regime turned out to be beneficial, and Uribe lost weight to 330 kg. It was during this period that he met a girl (she weighed 67 kg) who fell in love with him, despite his ugly appearance. They got married, and Manuel, full of optimism, continued to struggle with excess fat.

Unfortunately, the cheerful Mexican passed away in 2014. Then he weighed “only” 180 kg.

3 Khalid bin Mohsen Shaari

Arab Khalid bin Mohsen Shaari listed in the Guinness Book of Records as the heaviest man in the world. In 2013 he weighed 610 kg . Then the king of Saudi Arabia intervened in his fate, by whose order Khalid was taken to the hospital. 150 kg of fat were surgically removed. However, the weight of 460 kg does not allow the fat man to live a full life.

2 John Minnoch

An American won the silver medal in the ranking of the fattest people on the planet. John Minnoch with weight 635 kg . This is how much he weighed at 35 years old. His life was a complete torment: Minnokh could not walk, he even had difficulty sitting down and turning around, bedsores constantly appeared on his body, there was no need to talk about personal hygiene... The young man went to the hospital, and doctors helped him lose weight to 212 kg. Along with his discharge, the fat man received strict recommendations on diet, daily routine and exercise. But he did not follow the rules, ate a lot and, as a result, very quickly gained his previous weight. An American died at the age of 42. An autopsy revealed that his heart was in a fatty sac.

1 Carol Yeager

A US resident took the gold Carol Yeager Born in 1960, her weight was unimaginable 727 kg ! She became obese in early childhood, when she survived an attempted rape. Severe stress caused hormonal imbalance, as a result of which the girl began to rapidly gain weight. She was treated several times, but, unfortunately, to no avail. Carol died at 34 years old.

Every day we consume a lot of carbohydrates, as well as fatty foods, which make our body fat and ugly. But that's not the worst thing! By increasing one's volume, a person faces various health problems, and critical obesity can even lead to death. While the fattest people in the world are trying to deal with their problems, the rest of the fat people, who have not yet reached critical mass, continue to absorb food, causing harm to their health. This article provides examples and stories of some of the fattest people, looking at whom you will think about your diet and weight.

Huge Carol Yeager

Carol Yeager became famous as the fattest woman in history. It is said that her weight reached 727 kg, but this weight has not been officially confirmed. In the documentation you can find a note that her weight was 544 kg when the woman’s height was 170 cm.

Since childhood, Carol had an excessive appetite, which increased her weight more and more every day.

The reason for her strong appetite, according to her, was sexual harassment from a relative. The girl’s depression grew, and with it her weight increased. At the age of 20, Carol became so fat that her legs simply could not support her enormous weight. And the woman began to lead a bed lifestyle.

Carol Yeager died at 34

Over time, the American contacted the famous nutritionist Richard Simmons. In exchange for advertising the program, the girl was supposed to receive free treatment from this famous doctor, but, as it turned out, she never received help. Desperate, the girl began to visit various clinics, where, due to her high weight, doctors found more and more new diseases and complications. Carol was hospitalized about 8-10 times a year, which was not an easy process. After all, special equipment was involved in her transportation, transporting her heavy body from home to the clinic and back.

In 1993, the woman began to suffer from swelling, and her weight reached 540 kg. Thanks to the doctors who developed the diet and freed her body of excess fluid, the woman lost 235 kg of her total weight. But, unfortunately, losing weight did not relieve Carol of her problems and illnesses. When she returned from the clinic, she began to gain weight even more actively, eventually breaking all world records. Her weight at that time reached 727 kg, but this weight was not documented.

In 1994, the woman died of kidney failure. At the time of death, Carol's body weight was 544 kg. She was buried in a private cemetery, where about 90 people came to say goodbye.

Record holder Rosalie Bradford

Rosalie is recorded in the Guinness Book of Records twice. First as the fattest person on the planet, and then as the person who lost the maximum weight.

The woman was born in Pansylvania in 1943, and at the age of six months she was rejected by her mother. Rosalie's childhood cannot be called happy and carefree; she grew up in a foster family. Rosalie felt fear for her stepfather. When the girl was 8 years old, her mother unexpectedly returned and wanted to take Rosalie away from her foster family. But the foster family defended the right to raise the child.

The stress suffered in childhood influenced Rosalie's future life

How did Rosalie gain weight? From early childhood she was a chubby child. And closer to adolescence, the weight began to actively increase. First, at the age of 14, he approached the 100 kg mark. And just a year later the girl already weighed 140 kg. Despite being overweight, Rosalie met her destiny in the face of a man named Robert and got married successfully. After the birth of her son, Rosalie weighed 227 kg. At the beginning of 1980, a woman fell ill with sepsis, which confined her to bed. This is what caused further weight gain. During her illness, her weight reached 544 kg, when her height was only 167 cm. But, despite her enormous weight, Robert did not leave her. Moreover, he took full care of their son Robbie upon himself.

Due to her sedentary lifestyle, Rosalie developed terrible bedsores. And once, having fallen out of bed, she had to be lifted up with the help of a rescue squad. To lift it, they used a special device that is used to overturn cars.

The woman could no longer live like this and in 1988 she even tried to commit suicide, but, fortunately, she did not succeed. Then nutritionist Richard Simmons became interested in her weight. He developed a special diet and physical therapy exercises for Rosalie. So, starting with simple exercises and a developed diet, Rosalie lost 190 kg in a year. Then, continuing to follow the doctor’s instructions, the woman achieved a weight reduction of up to 300 kg.

She lost 416 kg and her weight was 128 kg. With such a huge weight loss, Rosalie was left with a large amount of excess skin. And then she decided to remove this skin through plastic surgery. It was this idea that became fatal for the woman. And in 2006, when she was 63 years old, Rosalie passed away. This heroic woman still remains one of the fattest women in the world, having lost such a record weight.

The cause of Rosalie's death was a complication after surgery to remove excess skin.

Jonn has always been a man of immense size. He is officially considered the fattest person on the planet, his weight is documented. He was born in 1941. The young guy, working as a taxi driver, already weighed 120 kg. His weight grew rapidly until it reached 635 kg.

Jonn couldn't even move in bed by this point. To turn it over, I had to call about 14 people for help. The man began to have health problems due to his weight. He was hospitalized and prescribed a special diet, thanks to which he lost 215 kg. But after treatment, John began to quickly gain weight again.

Donn Minnoch died in 1983, leaving a wife and two children

This heavyset guy was born in 1991 and is a resident of Saudi Arabia. It was listed in the Guinness Book of Records due to its enormous mass of 610 kg. Having such weight, he could not walk or move.

By order of the King of Saudi Arabia himself, in 2013, the young man was taken on a special plane to the hospital. Abdullah also paid for Khalid's treatment. The guy was transported by several people at once. And in order to get it from where it lived, we had to dismantle part of the house.

At the hospital, Khalid was helped to lose about 320 kg. And now he can move around using a special wheelchair. Doctors have found that the guy’s excess weight is not due to his diet.

In fact, Khalid’s huge mass is the result of the guy’s health problems. Without the operation, the young man would simply have died.

In 2016, Khalid began walking again

At the age of 22, Manuel's body weight was 130 kg. Then his weight actively grew until he reached 587 kg. The man could no longer get out of bed. The Mexican realized that something needed to change in life. He began to contact specialists who offered him surgery to reduce his stomach. The man refused this procedure and began to lose weight using a special diet. He gave up foods rich in carbohydrates and ate large amounts of protein. Thus, he lost weight to 381 kg.

The Mexican’s beloved woman was also the reason for the sudden weight loss. She helped him do special exercises and conducted dance classes. The human attitude did its job, and Manuel began to actively lose extra pounds. His weight after special exercises and diet was 187 kg. Unfortunately, in 2014, the man died in the hospital from health problems caused by excess weight.

Love works wonders and helps overcome any difficulties

Another victim of fast food is a man named Patrick Dewell. His fate is not so tragic, because the man got married and is still alive. He grew up as a completely healthy child and was almost not overweight. But then it started to pick up sharply. The maximum weight of a man was 511 kg. Doctors refused to treat him, but he eventually found help. The man's treatment required more than $1 million, which was paid for by the hospital administration.

Patrick was hospitalized in a special car, and in order to arrange a bed for him, two beds had to be moved together. During treatment, Patrick lost 144 kg, but he decided not to stop there and lose another 203 kg. And he almost succeeded.

Patrick goes to his goal

Inspiring Mayra Lisbeth Rosales

Why inspiring? Because she inspired the whole world with her results in weight loss. For all fat people, Myra is the ideal they want to look up to. How much did Myra weigh and what results did she achieve?

This woman weighed almost 500 kg and was a hostage to her own body. Due to her excess weight, she could not even get out of bed. And her huge folds of fat were so huge that other people mistook them for pillows.

In 2008, when she was 32 years old, Myra became famous throughout the world as the fattest criminal. She took the blame for the murder of her nephew. The woman claimed that she accidentally crushed him with her weight. But later the situation became clearer, and Myra was acquitted. In fact, in this way she wanted to cover up her sister, who brought the child to death with brutal beatings.

Myra continues to eat healthy and maintains her weight at normal levels.

After all the shocks, Myra decided that she could no longer live such a terrible life and wanted to change her life for the better. She underwent about 11 operations, constantly performed exercises, sat on a special diet, and achieved very great results. She lost 400 kg. And returned to normal life.

Heavyweight Egyptian Iman Ahmad Abdulati

Egyptian Iman is one of the fattest people on the planet. At 36 years old, she weighs half a ton and has suffered from elephantiasis for more than 25 years. In February 2017, it became known that Iman could no longer live in the body of a giant. She decides to undergo surgery to suture her stomach. This was made possible thanks to donations from kind people. Iman underwent surgery in Mumbai.

In addition to having her stomach reduced, some of her fatty tissue was removed. She successfully underwent surgery and lost about 100 kg. Following a special diet, she should reduce her weight by about 100 kg. Doctors also prescribed her bariatric procedures to achieve better results.

Iman was transported to Mumbai on a specially equipped cargo plane.

In fact, there are a huge number of such examples. This article describes only a part of them, and basically all the fates are tragic. Therefore, think about your diet and health. And if you have problems with excess weight, then you should immediately consult a doctor so as not to end up on the list of the fattest people on earth.

The fashion for thinness dictates its own conditions. Women and men all over the world are struggling with excess weight, hoping to gain slimness and beauty. But for some people, excess weight is an asset that they flaunt. They are ready to appear for newspapers and magazines, TV channels and online publications, tell their stories, strive to gain additional weight in order to get into the Guinness Book of Records. They are obese and overweight, they are plagued by illnesses, but they are proud of their extra pounds. There are also those who are in a happy marriage and want to prove that excess weight is not an obstacle to pure and sincere love.

By the way, we would like to note that the unhealthy foods that you allow yourself occasionally do not harm your figure in any way, so sometimes you can safely eat what you want. Many people say that occasionally they want to eat a portion of French fries or Doshirak, and they cannot calm down until they do this. In such situations, you should not strictly limit yourself. In addition, when buying Doshirak, you can take part in the promotion, register the Doshirak code and win one of the super prizes.

The Miracle Diet portal has prepared for its readers a selection of photographs of the fattest people in the world.

The fattest man in the world, who was included in the Guinness Book of Records, was recognized Mexican Manuel Uribe. At the age of 43, his weight was 572 kg. However, after a while he broke another record. Having lost 231 kg, he was included in the book of records for getting rid of the most extra pounds. The Mexican claims that his future wife Claudia helped him do this. In 2008, Manuel Uribe got married, and all invitees were prohibited from filming the wedding celebration. You were not allowed to take video cameras, cameras or phones with you. Only the Discovery Channel had the exclusive right to film the wedding. Manuel Uribe was transported to the wedding on a special bed using a forklift. To feed such a giant, you need to send a loan application to all banks, collect tens of thousands of dollars in credit, and this is hardly enough for a year.

Watch a video about Manuel Uribe, his story and his wedding. ("My awful story")

Donna Simpson also became famous due to her excess weight. At the age of 43, her weight was 273 kilograms. Her dream was to get into the Guinness Book of Records as the fattest woman in the world, for this she needed to gain weight to 450 kilograms. To achieve her goal, she needs to eat about 12 thousand calories per day (see calorie table). She has been married for about 20 years - she got married when she was 24 years old. My husband's weight is only 68 kilograms. But not so long ago it became known that they broke up.

Donna Simpson has already entered the book of records when she became the fattest mother in the world. She opened her website for fans who watch her life. She hosts video broadcasts on her website in which she shows how she consumes large amounts of food. The site brought her an income of 90 thousand dollars a year. As it became known, Donna Simpson has now gone on a diet () and decided to lose weight.

Terry Smith

Another woman known throughout the world for her weight is American Terry Smith. She weighs about 320 kilograms and has been bedridden for the past few years. She can hardly do anything on her own, not even get out of bed, let alone wash and get dressed. She was very large since childhood (see how to help a child lose weight) and at the age of 7 she weighed 51 kilograms. And at the age of 20 she already weighed more than 100 kg.

The woman also has a husband who is several years younger than her, a daughter and granddaughters. They support Terry as best they can. Doctors told her to urgently go on a diet, otherwise it could threaten the woman’s life. She had already tried to lose weight using untested diet pills () that doctors prescribed to her. But the pills did not help her, moreover, other doctors suspect she has serious brain damage. In such critical cases, most often only surgical intervention can help (see about liposuction), as well as the help of qualified nutritionists who can develop the correct individual diet for a given patient.
